Oregon Short Film Festival Names Best Picture Finalists

(Portland, OR) January 25, 2021 - The Oregon Short Film Festival Winter 2021 recently announced finalists for the Best Picture Award. The five finalists include January 14th directed by La'Chris Jordan (California), Beast directed by Megan Ward Stevens (Oregon), Brightside directed by Julia Levanne and Myhraliza Aala (Oregon), Marny’s Gift directed by Sean Martinez (Georgia) and Touch directed by Kurisu Lee (Malaysia).

The Oregon Short Film Festival judges noted: "January 14th shines a light on an all too real and incredibly important but unfortunate social issue in our country. The subject matter is handled in a thought-provoking way and overall, the film is entirely successful in conveying its message, thanks to its great cinematography, well-paced editing and emotional performances from its actors."

The Oregon Short Film Festival will take place on February 25th - 28th at Sunshine Mill Winery's Drive-Up Theater 901 E 2nd St, The Dalles, OR 97058. Parking opens at 5:00pm. Film screenings start at approximately 6:00pm. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.
