Another insert-foot-in-mouth moment from yours truly. A bowl of popcorn sits in the common area and I look at it...
Me: Now who eats popcorn without butter?! Female Colleague: I do. Me: Well, good luck swallowing it all down!
(Silence, then a blank stare.)
Me: That came out wrong, didn't it? Female Colleague: Uh...yeah...
