FEBRUARY 1, 2023 - LOS ANGELES, CA - The Charity’s Children Project, Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on the preservation of African American history, has named La’Chris Robinson Jordan as publicity and marketing manager. Robinson Jordan, an acclaimed writer and former journalist, will be responsible for the publicity, strategic communications and marketing for the organization's special events and educational initiatives.
Leveraging her extensive experience and network, Robinson Jordan will also expand the presence of The Legacy of Charity’s Children podcast, a short story podcast series that chronicles the life of early Ohio settler and Underground Railroad conductor Charity Davis Ceasar Broady and generations of her descendants.

Jordan is an award-winning writer, filmmaker and publicist. La'Chris began her career in Dubai, UAE, as an account manager for regional powerhouse FP7 McCann Worldgroup where she managed the corporate communications of UPS, Lucent Technologies, Gillette and World Fund for Nature. With expertise in writing powerful narratives, La'Chris has been instrumental in elevating the brands of Emmy® and Academy Award®-Winning creatives such Little Monster Films (Free Solo, The Rescue), Rebeca Huntt (BEBA), Nasir K. Ferebee (Black Boy Joy), Toni Bullock (OWN's Black Women Own the Conversation), A. Russell Andrews (HBO's Insecure) and Edwin Lee Gibson (Fx/Hulu's The Bear). La'Chris also wrote, directed and produced her debut short, January 14th, which was the Official Selection of 75 film festivals and recipient of over 50 award wins and honors worldwide, including a nomination for Best Diaspora Short Film by the Africa Movie Academy Awards. La’Chris is a 2022 Cohort of Creative Corridor, the U.K.'s Independent Film Trust (IFT) and U.S.-based Roadmap Writers co-production initiative supported by Sony Pictures Television.
