JANUARY 14TH Showcased in Virtual Panel Discussions at the 2020 Accra Indie Filmfest in Ghana

The Accra Indie Filmfest in Accra, Ghana, kick-started the annual event with their virtual conference series on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 with "Women in Film: Advancing Equality in the Screen Industry." Female directors whose films were selected for the festival were invited to discuss the hot-trending topic. Directors La'Chris Jordan (USA - "January 14th"), Janet Marrett (UK - "Kindred"), Idil Ibrahim (USA - "Sega"), Marisa Andoh (Ghana - "I Could Be You") and Stacey Duah (UK - "Honey, I Think I've Forgotten") participated in the discussion. The second series discussion - "Flourishing As An Actor in the Modern Film Industry" occurred on Wednesday July 22, 2020 - with a special appearance from award-winning British actor Oris Orhuero.
