January 14th is the Official Selection of the Academy Award-Qualifying Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles. The festival will be held from February 11 – 23, 2020 at the Cinemark 15 Theatres, located at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza in Los Angeles.
January 14th marks La'Chris Jordan's directorial debut and is set to premiere at the festival on February 13, 20 and 23. January 14th stars Jasmine Runnels, Tyree Jamar, Tabitha Mitchell and Brian Badolato. and is part of the "Black in America" Shorts Series.
PAFF is the largest Black film festival in the United States and the largest Black History Month cultural event in the nation. This year, PAFF selected a record-breaking 225 films, representing 52 countries in 26 languages – that is, 86 feature films; 128 short films and 11 new media selection.
