I love my dad so much. He's my light and shines when there is darkness. I was feeling incredibly lonely last night and he called me as if he knew.
We're connected that way and his advice was priceless, spot on and so real: "People are different these days and the lines are blurred. People don't know what they want anymore. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. But don't get too wrapped up in that. Continue to focus on what you're doing. Trust me, as you start to make your money and become a household name, you'll have men coming out the wood works. Everyone will want you then. They'll say, 'I knew you could do it' and all that. The question for you is, who do you choose? And will you want them? But that's success. It always comes with a price. It will only get harder because the men will want you because of what you have and not because they genuinely love you. You'll find that getting married is probably something you don't want to do. You've worked too hard to be with a fool and you'll be very resentful if it doesn't work out and you have to give his ass half because you're the millionaire. Millionaires should only marry millionaires. Just continue to focus on you. Very soon you'll have more options than you know what to do with."
